History
The first call to create the Association was done by Alejandro Woywood, for the “Video game developers meeting” that took place in December 15th 2009 at Engineering UC, organized by the UC “Video games creation” course’s staff and AmnesiaGames. At the meeting, 8 companies gathered with several development teams and people involved in video games development. By January 15th a founding group of companies gathered to agree the final version of the articles of association. In March 25th we met to officially create the Association at Providencia’s first notary’s office, in the presence of notary Camilo Valenzuela Riveros. At the time, the articles of association were approved and the constitution act was signed. Founding companies of the Association are: ACE Team, AmnesiaGames, Atakama Labs, Gamers Making Games, Games For Food, Powermedia, Jobbitgames and WanakoGames.
The public extract of the act was published on April 26th 2010, hence -by law- the Association is legal since that date.
