Assault Heroes 2 in “The Art of VideoGames”

The Smithsonian American Art Museum announced the preparation of a exhibition named “The Art of Videogames”. In this exhibition we’ll see the evolution of the videogames in the last 40 years. To define the game’s list, the organizers decided to allow the public to vote for their favs.

The great new is the chilean game “ Assault Heroes 2″ is on the list and we need your votes.

VG Chile in the 2011 GDC

Six Chilean companies, members of VG Chile, represent our country at the Game Developers Conference 2011 in San Francisco.
Amnesia Games, Brainstormers, Games for Food and Ear Studios, will go the Games Developers Conference (GDC) this year, to be held between February 28 and March 4 in San Francisco. The GDC is the meeting on the development of the world’s largest video game and that ‘s where we discuss the axes that are following the industry, both in technology and business trends. The trip is sponsored by CORFO, through one of its technological mission programs. With the delegation will travel Prochile representative to determine what new opportunities open up the video game industry for our country. Other companies attending will Atakama Labs (Newfoundland, Freaking Inkie) and Ace Team (Zeno Clash, Rock of Ages).

We want to share a story that we hear these days: Doritos Crash Course was the most downloaded game on XBLA in December, with nearly 1.5 million copies. And Tetris is currently the “top one” in shopping PSN Store! And the two events are created here in Chile.

Zeno Clash has earned an impressive number 65 in the 100 BEST GAMES EVER of PC Gamer magazine 2011 (February edition). We are more than 10 places above the Crysis (# 78) and one above the Torchlight (# 66 – we won the Game Developer Choice Awards)

Goin Entertainment is one of the winners of Sub 35 2010

Goin Entertainment was one of three winners of digital scouting. This event made by Fundación País Digital and First Tuesday in 2010. The winners will travel to Korea to visit one of the nation with the highest technology in the world.

After hard work in selecting the winners from more than 200 projects, the director of the Foundation Cristobal Piñera said, “It was a beautiful experience. We traveled around Chile and we find talented people and we realized that the issue is giving a hand”.

Behaviour are preparing a Ghostbuster’s game called Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime. This game will not be sold in physical stores. Developers choose the download format, with the platforms that will welcome you in PC, PSN and XBLA.

Also “Sanctum of Slime” presented as the most interesting new multiplayer options, cooperation between the four Ghostbusters rookies, we can enjoy both local andplaying online games. The game haven’t release date, we only know it will be in Spring 2011.
